Literary translator from French into Serbian in residency at ATLAS – Collège International des Traducteurs Littéraires in Arles, France
Bio
Born in 1983, Bojan Savic Ostojic is the author of around thirty translations from French and has translated the authors A. Artaud, S. Beckett, E. Bove, A. Kristof, H. Michaux, M. Proust, G. Perec, A. Robbe-Grillet and R. Roussel, among others.
He is also the author of several books of poetry, fragments and prose. The last one, ‘Ništa nije ničije’ (2020) was shortlisted for the Serbian Novel Prize. He is a member of the Association of Serbian Literary Translators (UKPS) and lives in Belgrade.
Residency goals
During his residency at ATLAS – Collège International des Traducteurs Littéraires, Bojan will be working on the translation of the novel of Jules Renard: ‘Poil de Carotte’, Éditions Flammarion, 1894.
