In Paris, Evelyne has been a member of the organizing committee of the Balkan Book Fair since its foundation. Among her main translations from Albanian into French are ‘Le Petit Bala; la légende de la Solitude by Ritvan Dibra’, (Editions Le Ver à Soie, 2018), the album ‘Le sceptre d’Ottocar’ by Hergé with Arben Selimi (Bénart Editions, Paris, 2014) and ‘Terre brûlée’ by Dashnor Kokonozi (Editions Non-Lieu, Paris, 2013).
Residency goals
During her residency stay at Poeteka in Tirana (Albania), Evelyne will be working on the translation of poetry from author Arben Selimi to be published at Rumeurs magazine – a quarterly French review by libre Éditions that gives a space to unpublished texts of today’s authors: creative collections, texts written in workshop, voices coming from elsewhere and represents a new space of reflection and current writings.
