15 – 17 June 2023, Belgrade (Serbia)
The third in-person Translation in Motion Partners’ Meeting took place between 15 and 17 June 2023. The Annual GA of the RECIT network was also held. Hosts of the meetings in Belgrade, Serbia were Krokodil.
Representatives of Translation in Motion‘s partners from RECIT (France), Krokodil (Serbia), Open Cultural Forum (Montenegro), Baltic Centre for Writers and Translators (Sweden), Collège International des traducteurs littéraires (France), Goten (North Macedonia), Next Page / Sofia Literature and Translation House (Bulgaria), Poeteka (Albania), International Writers’ and Translators’ House (Latvia), National Centre for Writing (UK) and British Centre for Literary Translation (UK) gathered in order to asses what has been achieved and what are the concluding activities to be implemented in the last two months of the project.
During the meeting, the independent expert Kristina Kujundžić mentored a self-evaluation workshop of the achievements within Translation in Motion with the project partners.
The Annual General Assembly of the RECIT network also took place. During the meeting the newest centres that had joined the network were introduced and welcomed; members shared news from the life of their organisations; ideas for the future development of the network were discussed.
The updated visual identity of RECIT was also presented, as well as the brand new network’s Facebook page, and the the digital interactive version of the Mapping of literary translation residencies in Europe carried out within the frame of the Translation in Motion project.
