The event was held by POETEKA, the Albanian partner in the Translation in Motion project

POETEKA, in cooperation with the National Book and Reading Center, has organised a policy meeting about the study ‘Mapping of literary translation residences in Europe’ in Tirana, Albania. The literary residency programme ‘Tirana in Between’ offered by POETEKA is part of the Mapping.

During the meeting, the organisation has presented data that offers influential perspectives on the approach to cultural policy-making, as well as information for the benefit of public institutions, the alternative cultural scene and literary translators that would help them recognise the typologies of literary translation residences across Europe, the geography of their distribution, programs, supporters, the link between residences, communication addresses, locations, reference languages, priorities and application procedures, etc.
